Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted that Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure has a future at the club.
Guardiola, speaking in his first press conference as manager of the Citizens, has insisted that Toure is a 'huge talent'.
Toure, 33, was sold to City by the revered manager during his successful stint at Barcelona, so it didn't exactly come as a surprise that the player's future at the Etihad has been one of uncertainty recently.
Ultimately, though, it appears that Toure could yet have a key role to play in Manchester ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
Guardiola stated, as per the Manchester Evening News: "I know Yaya for a long time. He did very will in Barcelona and here as well so he is a huge talent.
