It is not just the playing staff at Chelsea that looks likely to be going through changes as now according to reports emerging out of Spain, the Blues are also planning a major recruit at boardroom level.
Sport have claimed that Chelsea are eyeing a swoop for Ajax Technical Director Marc Overmars and add that the Premier League side have a great chance of luring the 43-year-old away from Netherlands as he has not yet signed an extension to his current deal at the Amsterdam Arena which expires in less than 12 months.
Italy head coach Antonio ConteOvermars has presided over the role as Technical Director at Ajax for four years now and has impressed by making a host of quality signings on a low fee, before selling them off at an exponentially higher yield.
Chelsea now seem to be keen on acquiring the services of Overmars to help Conte with his recruitment drive this summer and it will be interesting to see if the Arsenal legend decides to join the Blues.
