West Ham reject the chance to sign former Arsenal and Man United striker Robin van Persie

he former Manchester United and Arsenal striker was offered to the Hammers and was ready to take a pay cut to seal a deal.
But West Ham, who are desperate to land a centre forward this summer, have said no.
The Dutchman joined Fenerbahce in 2015 after Louis van Gaal deemed him surplus to requirements.

But he is keen to secure a move back to England this summer after scoring 16 times in the Super Lig.
Van Persie earns £240,000-a-week at Fenerbahce and has two years left on his deal.
And, according to the Daily Mirror, he was ready to cut his salary by more than half to get a switch to east London.

West Ham were in the market for Michy Batshuayi and tried to get Carlos Tevez back after failing with early bids for Christian Benteke, Theo Walcott and Alexandre Lacazette.
They are now looking at AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
