Chelsea have turned their attention to Leicester City star N’Golo Kante after growing frustrated with their pursuit of Radja Nainggolan.
The Blues have had two bids for Nainggolan turned down by AS Roma, with the second believed to be £27.4 million.
The Serie A outfit want £37m for the midfielder but Chelsea – who have not signed anyone so far this summer – are not willing to pay that for a player in his late-twenties and one who would need a year to adapt to the Premier League.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are now targeting Kante whose presence in midfield was a leading factor behind the Foxes’ incredible Premier League title triumph this season.
The 25-year-old was the linchpin in Leicester’s midfield and his form this term earned him a call up to France’s national team.
