Floyd Mayweather, regarded by many as one of the greatest fighters of all time, has annointed the light welterweight kingpin Terence Crawford as the heir to his throne, declaring him the true P4P champ among current boxers.
Crawford, undefeated in 32 fights and the former undisputed light welterweight champion, has gained the respect of 'Money' Mayweather with a string of impressive performances that have left him currently ranked second in the Rings pound for pound rankings behind 'Triple G' Gennady Golovkin.
Speaking to FightHype.com, the legendary American boxer outlined his admiration for Crawford.

The pound-for-pound top fighter in boxing right now is Terence Crawford.
"He doesn't have to be under my company to give a guy props...if he's a free agent, I would love to work with him...I know what I can do to take him to that next level...he reminds me of a young Floyd Mayweather...he can fight his ass off."

Crawford, who has recently vacated his WBO title to move up to the welterweight division, and is currently being linked with a bout against the Aussie Jeff Horn, will no doubt be flattered by these  from these remarks from the 'Pretty Boy.'
Horn shot into the spotlight with his surprise victory over Manny Pacquiao earlier this year, and Crawford would love to get the opportunity to fight him somewhere down the line.
